Putting out this album from Marcus Pinn was an easy decision. It stemmed from a cross country flight bumping his previously released Bandcamp beat tapes "MPC Era Vol. 1 & 2" for hours upon hours and realizing that Marcus' tireless work as a beatmaker, DJ, film aficionado, dad, and husband needed a definitive spot in your collection.

Equal parts Pete Rock, DJ Krush, Amon Tobin, DJ Cam, and Buckwild, Marcus Pinn's beats are lush, haunting, meditative, and New York as hell. These are beats for outings both somber and low down and dirty. A beat tape for a quiet evening in the crib, late night drives, or simply taking the cap off the good bottle that the kids can't easily find after a long day, "Night Music" is MPC beats for heads who were checking for Mo' Wax, Ninja Tune, and BBE before "lofi chillout" playlists made every bedroom producer with 1 style into a thing.
